I’ve been told that, in general, women have a second-class status in Japanese society, and yet I experience countless examples of them being awesome and tough-as-nails in Japanese popular culture.
Go figure.
This mind burp was inspired by the “fix-up” film Attack from Space (1965), which condenses the serial Sūpā Jaiantsu (1957-59) into one confusing and ultra-violent mush.
