ALLA VI BARN I BULLERBYN (1986)
Director: Lasse Hallström
Cinematographer: Jens Fischer
In short, modern films suck, so it’s nice to discover a classic moment of sheer beauty on the silver screen. It’s a moment that was shot before art became so formulaic that now even robots are doing it.
Good grief.
Perhaps in the next life I’ll be a filmmaker or photographer or astronomer or private dancer (dancer for money), professions that have always been shut off to me due to either my eyesight or mental illness or both.
And my lack of natural rhythm.
I’ll try not to get too upset at myself.
I guess I could attempt to recreate such an astounding visual concept in prose.
Who is to say.
Do stay in touch, darlings.
Toodles!
