KOZURE OKAMI SHINIKAZE NI MUKAU UBAGURUMA (1972)
Director: Kenji Misumi
Cinematographer: Chikashi Makiura
On the move again!
Thought I’d go for a pretty postcard shot this time, although I’m sure I’ll be back to more artsy fare soon enough. I’ve just gotten past the grim assault-murder scene in the woods or rainforest or jungle, I’m not sure what they have in Japan, so things are a little somber at the moment.
I’ve calmed down somewhat since yesterday’s distressing persistent knocks at my door, in fact it happened again today, but I’m beginning to care less and less. If it’s that important then, surely, the person can just put a note through my door. Usually it’s just a desperate soul selling either religion or an electricity supply, of which I need neither.
I’m also still reeling from watching that truly embarrassing Gamera film last night, the review of which I hope finds you well. I’m still umming-and-arring over whether to bother with the second one, in fear it might just be the same bollocks filmed at a different house.
Anyway, I best get back to monosyllabic sword play!
Do stay in touch, darlings.
Toodles!
